We did not want to miss all the nice food and historical building in Melaka, so we drove to Melaka town from A`Famosa resort and takes about 45 min drive. First night we drove to Jonker street where at night the street is closed for night market and you will saw a lot of hand crafted souvenirs. We had tried the fried oyster along the Jonker Street but not a good as not manage to get a nice one to eat..too bad.

Next morning after we checkout from A`Famosa, we back to Jonker Street again for photography and lots of foods..for sure. We snap few photo of the Red Building just to compare those photo taken during our “pak to” time in Melaka also. Do alot of different compare to few years back..haha..getting fatter.

Then we just shop around at Jonker Street, where we found 1 shop called “Jonker Dessert” and most of the people there enjoying cendol but we didn’t wanna try it in the first place where we have spotted the Nyonya Laksa that interest us both. We don’t want to get our stomach full so fast just get 1 bowl of the nyonya laksa to taste. The taste is perfect, combination of spicy and sour with nyonya spices makes you can’t resist another bowl.

This coffee shop decorated with a lot of ancient/antic item where you can enjoy looking at it while tasting the delicious food. We left the shop after finish our laksa and a cup of coffee (hainan coffee) in tea bag. We continue walk down to the end of the street and you really can find all sort of antic item there, first time in my life I saw this shop making bounding shoe or some call it foot binding where the shoe is very small binding to the feet and force the feet not to grow big.

I really amaze to see the size of the shoe, can you imagine how the girl stand on the feet so small? The guy in the photo is the shop owner and this shoe is made by his ancestor. I really enjoy travel to Melaka and I’m going to visit again to shot more nice photo.

Kedai Kopi Shin Lok – Famous kopi & Pau

Sunday is family days and we go to Kuala Selangor for seafood with my parent in-law and cousin, most of the times they prefer to go kuala Selangor seafood compare to Teluk Gong near banting as there more expensive and crowded.

This time they have a mission that is to find a famous vegetarian pao, chicken pao and yam cake. The coffee shop located on your halfway through to Kuala Selangor from Kapar klang before Sasaran, you will see a mosque and a Petronas petrol station. The shop is in the middle of the mosque and petrol station, then you can see the “Kedai Kopi Shin Lok” and you have reach the destination.

You will be surprise most of the people is enjoying the pao and you need to wait for the “Pao” as they make it fresh everyday as you can see the production place just behind the shop. It may takes up to hours for the pao to serve and we have order some to bring back home when we back from Kuala Selangor.

Do drop by this coffee shop for the fresh steam “pao” if you’re around that area.

Pavilion KL

Today we plan to go to the new shopping complex in KL, The Pavalion with my cousin. Normally newly open shopping complex will get a lot of crowd and not to surprise finding car park is another nightmares, luckily we manage to find a parking nearby. Most of the shop already open, mostly are high class and branded brands like Aigner, Club Monaco, Coach, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hermes, Hugo Boss, Juicy Couture, Prada and Versace plus a Jaguar showroom. Wonder why it put a showroom in a shopping complex, could it be next time when friend ask what you had bought on your shopping? “nothing much, just bought a new jaguar” 🙂 .

Tony Roma’s – Pyramid

Hmm…this is the third time i dine in this restaurant in Sunway Pyramid. I like this place for dining neither 2 pax or with groups of friend as the environment is very nice, I’ve been introduce by Wing Loon that Tony Roma’s in S’pore had the “Baby back rib” that is grilled pork rib but too bad here they don’t serve that.

The food that I like most is the “Onion Loaf” when dipped into BBQ sauce…yummy yummy

Here is the photo of me enjoying the Onion loaf..thank to the Tony Roma’s 35th anniversary vouche, so we can enjoy it and save RM 35 for it..ha ha ha
