I found a useful household tips from star newspaper quite sometimes ago and my dad cut the article out paste it into the whiteboard. Since CNY is almost around the corner and we started to clean our house so this is some good tips that can be used.

Few people realize how easy it is to clean your home with vinegar. This inexpensive liquid can clean everything from car chrome to vegetables to pets.

- Use vinegar to help scale fish. Rub the fish with vinegar, wait five minutes, then scale. Keep wood cutting board clean by wiping with full strength vinegar regularly

- Vinegar is great to remove strong food smells. Rinse your hands in it (full strength). For smell in the air, whether from food, cigarettes or paint place dishes of cider vinegar around affected areas.

- To clean fresh vegetables, place dish with water, vinegar and salt.Bugs and soil float right off.

- To de-ant problem areas, spray full-strength vinegar around windows, doors, under appliances and anywhere you see ant trails.

- To keep your kitchen drain smelling sweet, put a cup down the drain weekly. Let sit for 30 minutes, then flush with cold water.

- To unclog a drain, pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda and add 1/2 cup vinegar. Wait until it finished fizzing, then pour a cup of boiling hot water down the drain.

Hope this tips can helps to clean your home during this CNY.

Fitness First 14 days trial

I went to Fitness First for a 14 days trial with my wife as I got the trial coupon given by Microsoft, so we decided to do workout for free. We went to the nearest outlet that is in IOI Mall as we stay in Puchong, as usual before getting the free trial they will go a round check with your body condition and also pursuit you to join them as a member with those attractive packages.

For sure I will not join unless I really tested right? :) But either after trial or not I will not join at the moment as too many debt need to be settle, wait till any of the debt is settle than can consider. Ok, back to the gym the IOI outlet seem to be a little bit small compare to California Fitness in Mid-Valley. Compare to California, they offer 1 month trial better than here 14 days, it does have the standard gym equipment like Cardio, cycle, free wight, body workout, yoga classes and body workout classes. Those equipment only have few units so if there is a lot of people going for gym than you might need to wait for your turn.

Migrate Linux email to Mdaemon

I was given a migration project to migrate Debian mail server to Mdaemon mail server. This project include setting up the Mdaemon mail server and migrate email over 600+ mailbox on Debian mail server, at first this project seem to be very straight forward as from the first meeting with the customer they mention is 90% of the user is using outlook express. This sound like all the email will be store on the client rather than in debian mailserver right? By the time we do the installation only we found out they given us the wrong info, where 90% of the user is using webmail…. !@#$#$%#% .
