Last week me and my wife plan to cook kim chi noodle for today breakfast as we bought the Kim Chi from Cold Storage supermarket. What makes both of us fall in love with Kim Chi noodle as we have tried it at one of the korean shop in Sunway Pyramid (near the ice skate area). The shop owner is a korean and they really cooks very very nice korean food, quite a lof of korean dine there. Been there twice and having the same dish that is Kim Chi noodles, the soup was so deliciuos with the kim chi and chicken.

The set was comes with rice, 3 side dishes and especially the main dish kim chi soup. From there both of us addicted to korean food and look for Kim Chi to try make it on our own, we go to supermarket to find the Kim Chi and I think most of the supermarket are able to get. The one we bought is in plastic tupperware and is ready cut, my wife friends said some are in packet where whole cabbage uncut.

So how do we cook, we search through google on how to make the kim chi noodle soup and there is a lot of article on how to do it, most of the article almost similar so we use one of the recipe and try it out. Below is the ingredient we use:-

Ingredient

200-250 gm of Kim Chi (ready cut) with the juices
1 cup of water
3 cup broth (i use maggie chicken stock)
3 pcs of garlic minced
cooking oil / olive oil
chicken or beef meat
noodles (prefered to use Tang Hoon (冬粉), ” transparent noodles made from green beans” but i use Vits mee)

1. Stir fry the meat with a little oil and garlic until cooked.

2. Add water, broth, chili padi and kim chi. Bring it to boil and stir occationally.

3. Boil the soup a bit longer to make it tastier

4. Add noodle and bring it to boil again on medium heat.

5. Here you go, yummy kim chi soup noodle. Easy and delicious breakfast.
